Dr. Amin Astani, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Amin Astani is the founder of North Star Fibroid Clinic and a board certified interventional radiologist based in Golden Valley, MN. He is a recognized expert in Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) and is dual board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. His clinical focus is dedicated to providing women with safe, minimally invasive, uterus sparing alternatives to surgery.
Dr. Astani received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his radiology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Graduating Resident and Resident of the Year. He then completed his Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital. He has held leadership positions including Chairman of the Department of Radiology and Division Head of Interventional Radiology, where he expanded IR services and doubled case volume.
